5K Awesomeness
I ran my first 5k race on Saturday and set a personal record of 37.5 minutes, which is a 12 minute mile. For being someone who never like to run, I was pretty dang proud of myself. I even got a running blister on my foot, which I totally deserved as I have been training for the 5k and the triathlon with shoes I used to wear to mow the lawn back in Layton (for those of you who are counting - yes, that was a decade ago). Next on the agenda, really need to buy new shoes.

Go to a real running store to buy shoes. Totally worth it! I bought mine last year at Striders on Hill Field Road, just north of Layton Hills Mall.
Way to go! I'm so impressed!
